The Story Behind the Sauce

In 2007, Valerie brought her then-boyfriend (now husband) to Peru. Her mother Isabel cooked everything — and the ají amarillo sauce she made changed the way they both thought about food. Years later, Valerie decided the rest of the world needed to taste what she grew up with.

The result: three authentic Peruvian pepper sauces made in Peru, with at least 70% pepper puree per bottle, no eggs, no soybean oil, no fillers, no shortcuts. Just Isabel's recipe, scaled up and shipped to your door.
